On wednesday I leave to the UK for a 5 day convention of ultimate geekness. There’ll be boardgames, roleplay games, card games during the day, and wild parties at night. We’ll subsist on curly fries, shepherd’s pies and an endless current of British cider. It’ll be awesome, it’ll be extravagant! It’ll be… good for my metabolism?
But, before I throw all caution into the wind, I’m packing some bare necessities:
- 5 cans of tuna
- 5 tubs of cottage cheese
- a pound of trail mix
- a box of All-Bran plus (i usually don’t eat this, but how else can I take a long portable fibre?)
- A tub of protein powder & 1% milk
- Dried figs
- that protein bar that I bought on a whim and never ate
That should take care of my most urgent protein and fibre needs. It’ll give me a good base to pour all that cider on!
